DVMart is a B2B marketplace that connects buyers with sellers, manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors, exporters, importers, and service providers. Unless specifically mentioned, product shipping, packing, dispatch, logistics, freight, insurance, documentation, and delivery commitments are managed by the seller and buyer as part of their commercial agreement.
Sellers are responsible for confirming delivery availability, dispatch timelines, transport mode, packing standards, freight charges, tax documents, e-way bills, export documents, and tracking support. Buyers should confirm these details before issuing a purchase order or making payment.
Delivery timelines depend on product type, stock availability, order quantity, customization, payment confirmation, location, transport mode, and documentation requirements. Bulk orders, made-to-order products, industrial products, and export shipments may require additional production and logistics time.
For bulk products, buyers and sellers should clearly agree on MOQ, packaging, loading point, unloading responsibility, freight terms, insurance, handling charges, and inspection requirements. DVMart recommends documenting these terms in the quotation, proforma invoice, purchase order, or written marketplace communication.
Domestic shipping within India and international shipping for export or import orders depend on seller capability and buyer requirements. International orders may involve customs duty, export documents, import permits, local taxes, port charges, and compliance checks. These costs and responsibilities must be agreed directly between buyer and seller.
Buyers should provide accurate delivery location, GST or business details, contact person, unloading availability, preferred transport instructions, and any special delivery requirements. Delays caused by incorrect information, unavailable receiving teams, payment holds, or missing documents may not be the seller's responsibility.
Delivery charges may be included in the product price, quoted separately, or billed on actuals depending on the seller's terms. Buyers should confirm whether a quotation is ex-works, FOB, CIF, door delivery, freight paid, freight to-pay, or any other agreed logistics term.
Where available, sellers may share transport details, tracking numbers, courier information, dispatch documents, or logistics contact numbers. DVMart may help buyers and sellers communicate through the platform, but tracking accuracy and delivery execution remain with the logistics provider and seller.
If there is a delay, damage, shortage, wrong shipment, or documentation issue, buyers should contact the seller immediately and preserve supporting evidence such as photos, delivery challans, invoices, transport receipts, and communication records. DVMart support can review platform records and help both parties coordinate, but final resolution depends on seller terms and applicable law.
